March Round-Up: Award Wins, Site Progress & Continued Delivery

March was an incredibly busy and rewarding month for our team, packed with project progress, site improvements, investigations, and plenty of networking. From safety upgrades and surveys to a major award win, here’s what we’ve been up to.

MKBAA Built Environment Award Win

The highlight of the month was winning the MKBAA Built Environment Award. This recognition means a great deal to the entire team and reflects the consistent hard work, quality delivery, and collaborative approach we bring to every project.

Winning this award is a testament to our commitment to delivering high standards across facilities, maintenance, and improvement works. It also reflects the strength of our relationships with clients, suppliers, and our wider team, including our sister company.

We’re proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone involved. Moments like this reinforce our focus on continuing to raise the bar and deliver exceptional results across every project we take on.

Surveys, Progress & Ongoing Works

March saw a large number of site surveys taking place, alongside continued progress across multiple live jobs. This included work relating to roller shutter doors, helping move several projects forward and ensuring future installations run smoothly.

Access Control & Door Improvements

Door Investigation

We completed access control changes and door furniture amendments, improving both usability and site security. Alongside this, the team carried out a door issue investigation to identify and resolve operational concerns.

Safety & Site Improvements

Safety remained a priority throughout March, with several upgrades completed:

  • New gate installation for improved site safety
  • Speed bump installation at Makita
  • Line marking refresh at Makita
  • Additional line marking, speed bumps and signage installed
  • Store cupboard converted into a functional staff room

These improvements enhance both safety and day-to-day usability for site teams.

Mechanical & Infrastructure Investigations

The team carried out several technical investigations, including:

  • Air compressor investigation
  • Non-intrusive sprinkler pipework scanning
  • Roof gutter clearing and downpipe repair works

These proactive checks help identify potential issues early and keep client facilities running efficiently

Planned Maintenance & Out-of-Hours Works

We successfully completed a power shutdown alongside HV/LV maintenance. The works were carried out out of hours to avoid operational disruption, ensuring the client’s business continued running smoothly.

We fully completed the downpipe overflow project at Yamaha, working alongside our sister company. This collaborative approach ensured the works were delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Networking & Events

March also included a strong focus on relationship building. We attended the SportsAid event as sponsors and took part in numerous networking events throughout the month, strengthening connections and creating new opportunities across the local business community.
