On the 7th of June, we ended our week a little differently, by hosting our first FMS Litter pick!
We walked around the industrial estate of Wymbush, where our office unit is based, as well as some of the local parkland that surrounds the area, picking up litter and doing our best to tidy up our local community.
We were joined by a couple of friendly faces, the Ops Director of our sister company Plumbing & Gas Solutions – Darryl, and Jon from the Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation.
In the space of just over 2 hours, our team were able to fill up over 8 full rubbish bags!
Our Business Development Manager Matt organised the event and was proud to host what will be the first of many.
Our litter pick took us out of Wymbush and around the local area, including a quick visit to one of Milton Keynes’ most iconic landmarks, the concrete cows!

He said: “It felt great to get out in our local community and help clean up the area where we work.”

We are looking forward to organising more in the future, and we will continue to expand and grow the event over time, getting more of the community involved, including more of our partners.
