Spreading Support This Season: FMS Joins the MK Food Bank Reverse Advent Campaign
As the festive season approaches, many organisations turn their attention to Christmas gifts and seasonal celebrations. At Facilities Management Solutions (FMS), this time of year has traditionally been spent planning the distribution of Christmas presents to our valued clients. However, in keeping with our commitment to supporting our local community, we have once again chosen a different path, one that brings meaningful, practical help to families who need it most.
Redirecting Christmas Funds for Greater Impact
For the second year running, FMS has elected to redirect the budget normally allocated to client gifts and instead contribute to a cause that creates real, immediate impact. This year, we are proud to support the MK Food Bank Reverse Advent Campaign, an initiative designed to provide essential supplies and festive treats to households across Milton Keynes during one of the toughest periods of the year.
25 Crates Filled Through Team Generosity
Thanks to the kindness and wholehearted involvement of our incredible team, we successfully filled 25 crates with a wide range of items. These included:
- Everyday food essentials
- Household staples
- Festive treats and seasonal extras
Each crate will be distributed by the MK Food Bank to local families in the run-up to Christmas, helping to provide comfort, nourishment, and a little festive cheer at a time when many are feeling the strain.
A Team Effort That Makes a Difference
We are extremely grateful to every member of the FMS team who contributed. Whether through donations, organisation, or spreading awareness, each effort played an important role in making this initiative a success. This collective kindness reflects the spirit of FMS and our shared belief in the importance of giving back.
