January set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting year at Facilities Management Solutions. From major refurbishments to compliance testing, team growth, and even a milestone birthday, the first month of 2026 was busy in all the right ways.
Keeping Sites Safe, Compliant and Weather-Ready
With winter in full swing, our team were hard at work carrying out roof and gulley clears across multiple sites, helping to prevent water ingress and long-term damage. Alongside this, we completed roof leak remedial works, ensuring buildings stayed dry, safe, and operational despite the challenging weather.
January also saw us deliver annual LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) testing, supporting our clients with essential compliance and ensuring safe working environments.
Transformations Big and Small
We completed a variety of decorating projects throughout the month, refreshing workspaces and improving site presentation. One of our standout projects was a full kitchen refurbishment, which included new flooring, upgrades, and final decorating – a complete transformation delivered from start to finish by our team.
In addition, we carried out cracked bath repairs, groundworks maintenance, and the repair of a damaged gas cage within a warehouse, reinforcing our ability to respond quickly to both planned and reactive maintenance needs.
Site Improvements and Safety Works
Throughout January, we carried out line marking to help improve safety and organisation across client sites. We also installed two new palisade fences at separate locations, strengthening perimeter security and improving long-term durability.
Growing the FMS Team
January marked an exciting chapter for our people as we welcomed Ayden and Bradley to the FMS team as Project Managers. Their experience and fresh perspective are already adding value to our projects, and we’re delighted to have them on board.
Industry and Community Engagement
We were proud to be a co-sponsor of the MKPCN event held at Revolución de Cuba, Milton Keynes. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry peers, strengthen relationships, and continue building our presence within the local business community.
Celebrating 5 Years of FMS
To top it all off, January marked FMS’s 5th birthday 🎉. Reaching this milestone is a huge achievement and a testament to our clients, partners, and dedicated team who have supported us along the way. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what the future holds.
