On Thursday 16th of October 2025, our team at Facilities Management Solutions proudly took part in the MK Can event – a community challenge organised by the MK Food Bank. The initiative brought together local businesses and community groups from across Milton Keynes, all uniting with one goal: to raise awareness and collect vital donations to support families in need.
Representing FMS on the day were our Project Managers Matt and Ashley, alongside our Digital Marketing Apprentice Lolah and George the Plumbing and Heating Apprentice from our sister company, Plumbing & Gas Solutions Ltd, making it a true group effort across our business family.
A Day Full of Fun and Friendly Competition
The day was packed with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of competitive spirit. Our team took part in 12 challenges including tug of war (where Ashley absolutely smashed it!), human hungry hippos, a lively round of higher or lower, a nostalgic sports day and so much more. Each challenge brought out a different side of our team – from strategy and coordination to good old-fashioned strength and determination.
It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and engage with the wider Milton Keynes community in a fun, active way. The event perfectly captured the spirit of teamwork and community support that lies at the heart of everything we do at Facilities Management Solutions.

The MK Food Bank plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families across Milton Keynes who are facing difficult times. Events like MK Can not only raise essential supplies but also bring our community closer together. We’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful cause and to help raise awareness of the incredible work the MK Food Bank continues to do.
