World FM Day 2021 – Celebrating the vital work of the facilities management profession
World FM day aims to raise the global profile of the facilities management profession and the team at FMS and PGS are incredibly proud to be supporting this day and contributing to such a vibrant and crucial sector.
Having started Facilities Management Solutions in the midst of a global pandemic we’ve been able to provide vital support and services to a wide range of clients, from office blocks and universities to sporting facilities, schools and hospitals – our work has enabled these organisations to continue to work in clean, safe environments.
The FM profession touches nearly everyone, everywhere in some way and it’s important to take a moment to reflect on our achievements, particularly over the last year and to connect and support others and share experiences.
To celebrate this day and support others working in the sector, we’ve created a useful resource page with some handy downloads that provides step-by-step advice around re-opening your buildings post-covid and managing/identifying your asbestos responsibly.
Carl Yeomanson, Manager of FMS and PGS said:
“The facilities management sector has played a key role in the response to the global pandemic and we’ve been extremely busy maintaining and securing buildings for a wide range of clients over the last year. Because so many people were home working, we were able to get into buildings and carry out major works without creating too much disruption.
Although some of our clients had to shut their doors during the pandemic, we have been fortunate and busier than ever. Many of our clients used this challenging time to invest in their buildings, which is where we have been able to help.”
